The Michael Jackson trial brought tears to my eyes when the prosecution played the 911 tapes. Apparently, security guard, Alberto Alvarez finally called 911 after Michael Jackson's physician, Dr Conrad Murray, decided it would be the best thing to do. The problem was that by time emergency help was sought, Michael Jackson may have already been dead. What may be worst is that the doctor might have known that Jackson was already dead for as many as 20 minutes before the 911 call was made.
In listening to Michael's trial, it seems to me that Dr. Murray was attempting to use Alvarez to cover up a crime scene; while at the same time, possibly finding ways to distract the him. For instance, Dr. Murray, charged with involuntary manslaughter in the death of Michael Jackson, at one point, told guard Alvarez to get the children, Prince and Paris, out of the room. According to Alvarez testimony, the children had entered their father's bedroom behind him. Although it made since for Dr. Murray to tell the security guard to remove the children so they would not see their father in a 'dying' state, the doctor made other requests that seemed reasonable at the time but in hind sight might have been efforts for the doctor to turn suspicion away from his neglecting Michael and possibly causing his death.
Consider this... Why did Dr. Murray tell guard Alvarez to get a bag so that the doctor could drop vials into it? Why did the doctor tell the guard to put an intravenous unit (IV) inside another particular bag? What was the doctor doing while the guard was carrying out his orders? Perhaps shielding other actions he did not want the guard to see as he followed the doctor's orders. Furthermore, why was the doctor so worried about where vials or medical devices were when he should have been concentrating on reviving Michael Jackson?
It seems to me that Murray was trying to prevent the security guards, Williams included, from realizing that Jackson was dead and had already been dead when they entered the room in order to give himself more time to cover his tracks.
It is truly sad to learn how this doctor, in addition to improperly administering Propofol outside of a medical facility, did not bother to make certain he had all the proper equipment that medical professionals normally use to monitor patients under the influence of this drug.
What is alarming, as well, is the doctor's apparent lack of knowledge on how to successfully perform CPR on a patient. It simply baffles me! How could Dr. Murray not possess CPR performance skills!? How could he not be able to use CPR to save Michael as he lay on the bed, according to the doctor, unconscious.
Alvarez testified that he did try to help Dr. Murray with the procedure. He also said that the doctor was using only one hand to compress Michael's chest. Proper CPR applications requires the use of both hands. Apparently, the doctor really did not know this, or pretended not know as he sought assistance from the security guards. No wonder the doctor also failed to pump Michael's chest 'nonstop'. Yes! While the doctor was conducting chest pumps himself, he failed to continue the compressions 'nonstop' as you are supposed to do until help arrives and another capable person takes over the process. Keep in mind that Dr. Murray is not just any doctor, he is a cardiologist!
Had Dr. Murray become so desperate to cover his tracks that he solicited the security guards to help him perform CPR knowing that Michael Jackson had already passed? This is very scary and cruel stuff!
As a doctor, in general, not necessarily even a heart specialist, you know that unless someone else continues the chest compressions or tells you to stop because the patient has passed, that it is imperative to keep the compressions going nonstop.
Another point worth noting is that when performing CPR, you cannot get the amount of force needed for successful hand pumping compressions unless the patient is on a hard surface such as the ground or the floor. The doctor should have pulled Michael onto the floor and then compressed his chest.
Faheem Muhammad, African American security guard, did say that Michael appeared to be dead when he arrived on the scene.
Just about everybody knows that Dr. Murray failed to call or to ask anyone to call 911 in a timely fashion on the day Michael Jackson died. Prior to the third day of trial lunch recess, however, it seemed like the defense attorney was trying to make it out that it was guard Alvarez's fault for not calling 911 sooner.
Can't wait to see how this turns out...

Government Subsidies
Yeah... So I'm thinking... Why should large corporations get so many government subsidies, lay off their workers, and take big bonuses while small businesses work hard to make a profit, hire and reasonably pay as many employees as they can afford, and create jobs in the United States without subsidies? HUH! HUH! HUH!! Well... my small business could use a subsidy! Entrepreneurs... How bout yours!?
