Rant... What's a rant?
A rant is a complaint about anything that gets on your nerves; especially annoyances that you have plenty to say about! Whether a resurfacing pet peeve, someone's stupid behavior, or dumb things you hear during the day, feel free to rant about anything that makes you feel fed up.
To get the rants started, I put forth a question about the political outrage that more than likely is still fresh on people's minds in the United States as well as around the world. What issue is that? The infamous debt ceiling fiasco - of course!

Question: Who would have thought that a bunch of people calling themselves Tea Party representatives would infiltrate the U.S. government and hold the country's reputation hostage by refusing to pay our debt unless they get to suck their pacifiers for as long as they want to first?
My Answer: American citizens who had sense enough not to vote for them.
So... What do you think?
Post your response below... All I ask is that you keep it clean please...
I had them pegged during the '08 campaign....it was so obvious what they were about. Dems were warned during the '10 midterms , abut still didn't get off their duffs and go vote. I ALMOST CAN EMPATHISE, Obama betrayed his base numerous times already and people just couldn't justify the effort. However I did vote. Because I could see what was going to happen I hate to say I told you so..... but, I told everybody I could get to..
ReplyDeleteI hear your truthnreality! I think a VERY LARGE part of the problem is ignorance... It is amazing how many people still have no idea what is going on in the United States; and more amazing, those who do not care to know and then wonder what happened once their lives become adversely affected by the system. It is like 10 - 20 years ago when the Republicans pushed on caps for lawsuits against the medical industry and other big business by framing them as "frivolous".
